After studying Creative Producing at the dffb in Berlin, Nils Bökamp co-founded production company Boekamp & Kriegsheim with Felix Kriegsheim in 2009. He produced numerous award-winning documentaries and documentary series. Always strongly involved in the development process, he also directed several feature documentaries, and documentary series, and had his fiction debut as a director in 2014 with the low-budget film “You & I”. His directing and producing credits also include the feature doc “The Worst Thing”, Arte doc series “1968mm,” feature doc “Green Gap” and LGBT history-focused drama series “ACT Up.”

In October 2019 he joined Netflix’s London offices, and he currently oversees documentary for the German-speaking DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
