In 2004, he co-founded the Asia Filmfest, one of Europe’s biggest film festivals for contemporary Asian cinema and served as its Creative Director and Main Programmer until selling the event to the Kinopolis group in 2010.

Subsequently, he joined Koch Films as an Acquisitions and Product Manager for Koch’s feature film division. Koch Films is an independent film and home entertainment distributor and a subsidiary of Koch Media GmbH, one of Germany’s leading independent media companies and is active in distribution all over Europe. Since February 2018 Koch Films and Koch Media are part of the Swedish owned media group THQ Nordic.
